The Incredible Hulk #1 Tattoo Review

incredible hulk number 1

When it comes to tattoos, a lot of people are trying to depict their inner Hulk, their wild and powerful side that is just waiting to burst out. This particular Hulk shows off his green skin, with a fierce look that is just looking right into your soul. It’s a great piece of art that really captures the essence of the character.

Hulk fans have seen plenty of incarnations over the years. He has battled heroes, villains, and even entire planets. However, none of that has ever been quite like this. The Incredible Hulk #1 introduces a new direction for the iconic monster, one that takes him into a world of monsters, and a hunt by an ancient evil.

The first issue is an impressive start to a new run, one that is sure to please both old and new readers. It queues up the series’ status quo and some of its larger threats, and does so while delivering a solid story with interesting characters that will be fun to follow.

After a fantastic opening, the story moves along as three ongoing plot points merge with the main narrative. The first follows a pair of tomb raiders who unwittingly release a creature from the Green Door, and one of their members is eviscerated by it. The second involves a young woman named Charlene who has found herself on the run from someone who is hunting her, and her growing friendship with the Hulk.

Finally, the third arc concerns the build up of the Mother of Horrors and all her menacing children as they seek to take control over Banner’s body. This is a fascinating storyline, with some truly stunning art from Nic Klein, and one that offers up a few surprising twists towards the end.

With so many different styles of art being used in comics, it’s always nice to see some consistency with the way characters are drawn. That’s why it’s so striking to see a Hulk that is both green and clearly recognizable as the Green Goliath. With his chiseled chest and bulging veins, this is a true testament to the power of the character.

Throughout the book, the artwork is superb. Nic Klein’s style is perfect for this book, offering a dark and gritty feel that is well-suited to the story. His facial expressions are also spot-on, able to convey a variety of emotions from sadness to anger. The double page spread showing Banner transform into the Hulk is simply spectacular.

Overall, this is a fantastic debut issue that offers a fresh and exciting take on the classic Green Goliath. While there are a few minor kinks that need to be worked out, this is an issue that is well worth picking up for fans of the series and anyone who wants to experience a different angle on the monsters of the universe.
