The Incredible Hulk Honest Trailer

A few weeks ago, Marvel Studios released a new trailer for their upcoming film Avengers: Endgame. In preparation for the release, Screen Junkies created an Honest Trailer which has become a tradition for MCU films. Earlier this year, they made Honest Trailers for Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Thor: Ragnarok, and Captain America: Civil War. Now, the team has added The Incredible Hulk to their list of MCU films to make fun of.

While The Incredible Hulk is better than the previous film based on the character, it’s still not an excellent movie. The story follows Bruce Banner as he becomes the Hulk after a science experiment goes wrong. The gamma radiation in his body turns him into the green-skinned giant for short periods of time. The government seeks to capture him and his army of the Abomination.

The film has some of the same issues as the previous adaptation, such as questionable casting and dull writing. The characters are not well-developed and the dialogue is just plain bad. Norton’s performance is decent, but he does not come close to matching the level of Bill Bixby as Banner in the 1970s TV series.

The CGI in the movie is good and a lot more realistic than what was used in the first film. It also looks better than some of the other MCU movies that came out before it. The only problem is that it is a bit too long.

Mark Ruffalo is a great Hulk, but he cannot carry a film on his own. He needs a strong supporting cast to keep the movie moving along at a fast pace. The rest of the cast is solid, but there is not a single actor that stands out. The film could have been cut down by about 20 minutes and it would be a lot better.

Tim Roth is a great villain as Blonsky in the film. He is a lot more believable as a man going toe-to-toe with the raging monster than some of the other actors in this type of film.

The movie is a lot of fun, but it’s no match for the quality of the later MCU films. If you can overlook the flaws in this movie, then it is a fun way to spend an afternoon.

The movie will premiere on Disney+ on 17 September. Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer Walters, the shady lawyer who helps Bruce Banner. The upcoming drama is one of the few serial productions planned for the MCU. Other upcoming projects include the MCU TV series Daredevil starring Charlie Cox and She-Hulk starring Jameela Jamil. The film will also feature a number of classic MCU villains, such as Fin Fang Foom and The Mandarin.
